Committees

Serving on an NVCPA committee allows you to network with other professionals, gain experience & meet others who work in your field.

Committee members work together to accomplish objectives & projects that directly support the NVCPA. The time commitment is generally minimal as most committees meet 3–5 times per year. Committees

  • Gaming

    The Gaming Committee is comprised of gaming professionals from the casino industry, accounting firms and private companies.  Their main goal is to plan the annual Gaming Conference that occurs May of each year.

  • Legislation / Political Action

    The primary objective of the Legislation/PAC committee is to promote the Society's legislation agenda by maintaining relationships with state and federal legislators and serve as liaisons to the members of the NVCPA State and Federal Key Person Programs and other appropriate organizations.

  • Young Professionals - Northern Nevada

    The Young Professionals committee provides opportunities for young accounting professionals to network and collaborate with one another on issues of importance to them during the early years of their careers.  One of the committees' objectives is to develop a Leadership Conference each year.

  • Young Professionals - Southern Nevada

    The Young Professionals committee provides opportunities for young accounting professionals to network and collaborate with one another on issues of importance to them during the early years of their careers.  One of the committees' objectives is to develop a Leadership Conference each year
