Crowd Funding - Donations and Pre-Sales
Crowd funding is the process of asking the public for money, typically over the Internet. Crowd funding may take the form of pre-selling (advance orders for goods or services), donations, debt or equity. This session discusses the advantages, risks, pros, cons, costs and the process of raising capital via crowd funding via pre-sales and donations. We look at what works and explain how Crowd Funding is changing how organizations, both large and small raise financing. This session covers donations and pre-sales. An independent companion session covers crowd funding for debt and equity.
