Volunteer Opportunities
The Nevada Society of CPAs accomplishes many great initiatives that benefit the profession and society; however, none of this would be possible without the volunteers on committees, task forces, interest groups, and special volunteer programs. These groups provide a great opportunity for members to network with other professionals throughout the state, expand professional knowledge, and serve the accounting profession.
The NVCPA works with various community organizations to help provide our members with worthwhile volunteer opportunities. Our statewide outreach helps members find volunteer openings that fit their schedule and geography. Committee Service
Becoming part of an NVCPA committee offers you the opportunity to make a difference in the accounting profession and the community, while enhancing your professional experience. You can help guide your organization through committee and task force leadership teams that advise the Board of Directors, expand your own professional knowledge, and are of service to the profession. The Nevada Society of CPAs gets the job done through the workof volunteers on statewide committees. This active committee system is the backbone of the Society. Committees operate with specific objectives for programs and special activities during the year.

Task Forces
