Key Person Program Participation Sheet

The NVCPA and the AICPA use the Key Person Program to improve and promote relationships with legislators and monitor legislation affecting the profession.  We need our members to identify their relationship with legislators and their willingness to volunteer to participate in the Key Person Program.

By volunteering as a key person, you help the Society maintain contact with key decision makers, which allows us to take a more proactive role in legislative issues.  This program improves our lobbying efforts and our relationships with state and federal representatives.

Please complete the form below and check the appropriate box(es) on these pages to indicate your relationship with legislators. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact Sharon Uithoven at 800-554-8254.

Membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants is voluntary. By accepting membership, a certified public accountant assumes an obligation of self-discipline beyond the requirements of laws and regulations.

These Principles of the Code of Professional Conduct of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants express the profession’s recognition of its responsibilities to the public, to clients, and to colleagues. They guide members in the performance of their professional responsibilities and express the basic tenets of ethical and professional conduct. The Principles call for an unswerving commitment to honorable behavior, even at the sacrifice of personal advantage.
