identifiable information to third parties, but only in an aggregated
form.
Is My
Information Secure?
We want your information (including personally identifiable
information) to remain as secure as possible. We use commercially
reasonable security measures to protect your information, including, but
not limited to, physical security and restricted access to information.
With regard to online security, we strive to provide secure transmission
of your information from your computer to our servers through
industry-standard techniques. To help ensure the integrity and privacy
of the personally identifiable information you provide to us via the
Internet in connection with credit card transactions, we generally use
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology in transmitting such
personally identifiable information over the Internet to our servers. We

located in controlled environments that adopt commercially reasonable
security measures. Only employees or Outside Contractors who need access
to your information to perform a specific task or function are granted

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the collection and use of any
information gathered through any third-party websites, including any
sites to which the Sites link. We encourage you to review the privacy
policies of third-party sites to understand what policies apply to their
respective collection and use of information. With regard to Outside
Contractors, as stated above, we require such parties to protect the
privacy of your personally identifiable information consistent with this
Privacy Policy. With regard to third-party partners with whom we share
our mailing lists and other personally identifiable information about
you, we require such parties to protect the privacy of your personally
identifiable information by making only limited use of our mailing list
consistent with our contracts with such parties.
Do You
Have A Choice Not To Receive Promotional Offers?
It is the policy of NSCPA, whenever possible, to offer you the
opportunity to indicate whether you would like to "opt-in"; to receiving
promotional and/or marketing information about other products, services
and offerings from the NSCPA and/or any third parties at the point of
data collection. NSCPA will include personally identifying information
of individuals attending the Annual Conferences in the Conference
Directories unless they expressly opt-out. Further, personally
identifying information of NSCPA members will be included in the NSCPA
Membership Directory unless they expressly opt-out. NSCPA may, from time
to time, adopt an "opt out" approach with respect to certain other uses
of personally identifiable information. If you previously have opted-in
to use of your personally identifying information for a particular use
and then change your mind, or you did not opt-out and you then change
your mind, upon your reasonable request, you may later opt-out of
receiving promotional communications from the NSCPA or any of our
third-party partners or affiliates at any time. You may do so either (i)
by sending an e-mail to info@nevadacpa.org; or (ii) by changing your profile
in the personal profiles section of the Sites. Please note that if you
decide to opt-out of receiving promotional information or other
communications after you have previously opted-in, your change in
preference will only affect future contacts; if information has already
been provided to third parties they may continue to use it. Even if you
do not opt-in to receive promotional information or you have opted-in
and then later choose to opt-out, we reserve the right to contact you as
necessary in our sole discretion regarding your membership in NSCPA, any
request you have made for services or products from NSCPA, changes to
this Privacy Policy, and any other matters that may be relevant to the
information we collect.
How Can
You Update, Correct or Delete Personally Identifiable Information?
Upon request, we will use reasonable efforts to allow you to access
to update or correct personally identifiable information that you have
submitted if you state that the information is erroneous, to the extent
that doing so will not compromise our security or other interests. Also,
upon your request, we will use reasonable efforts to remove your
personally identifiable information from our database; however, please
be advised that it may not be possible to delete all such information
without some residual information remaining due to back-ups and records
of deletions and that we are unable to delete information from
third-party databases.
What
Information Is Collected From Children?
We believe it is important to protect the privacy of children. Our
Sites are not designed for or directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not collect personally identifiable information from any person we
actually know is under the age of 13.
Will
the NSCPA Change This Privacy Policy?
This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 1, 2007. We reserve the
right to change this Privacy Policy at any time by notifying users. We
may notify you by posting a notice on the Sites or by contacting you
through electronic mail or other means. Your continued use of NSCPA's
services, including but not limited to the Sites, following the posting
of changes to this Privacy Policy means that you accept those changes.

You Do Not Agree To the Terms of This Privacy Policy?
As a member of NSCPA, or by otherwise using the services of NSCPA,
including but not limited to the Sites, you signify that you agree to
this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please
do not provide any personally identifying information to NSCPA in
