NSCPA History
Founded in 1947, the Nevada Society of
Certified Public Accountants (NSCPA) has remained Nevada’s leading
advocate for CPAs in public practice, management, business and industry,
education and government. The Society’s mission is to enhance the
profession of certified public accountancy in Nevada through member
service, support and advocacy. The Society is an active professional
association of more than 1,800 accounting professionals working together
to better serve the public interest and enhance the practice of
accounting in Nevada. Membership in the NSCPA provides a business
advantage by enabling CPAs and other financial professionals to stay
current on changing technical, and management issues, improve work
quality, and advance their careers. To help members meet these
requirements, the Society provides continuing education, peer review
programs, publications, legislative efforts, discounted services and
other benefits empowering members to achieve their goals.
