governmental relations
It is critical for CPAs to have a voice in the legislatures in Carson City and Washington, D.C. The Society works with elected officials and regulatory agencies on issues of importance to the profession.
Key PersonThis grass roots program enables the Society to influence legislative change. By becoming a key person, a CPA establishes a link with legislators to discuss the profession’s views on critical issues.
Political Action CommitteeThe NVCPA PAC is an active arm of the Society that identifies and supports political candidates statewide who are disposed to working with the NVCPA to enhance the accountancy environment in Nevada.
